Lockhead Hudson

Hiding for 60+ years
Hiding for 60+ years

In the month of Sept. 2000, Atlantic SeaView located the site of a WW2 Hudson Bomber. The WW2 Hudson Bomber had landed on a local lake with problems with one engine in the early 1940’s; there has been an extensive search for this Hudson Bomber over the years. We are now in the process of going through recorded film of this aircraft. In the near future a Video of this Aircraft will be available as it has been underwater since the early 1940’s. The water conditions in this location are very black and the Aircraft has some 60 odd year’s of silt build-up on it, I will post the frames from the digital film as I have the time to edit them; to get the camera near the aircraft for close-up shots has been a real hassle as the silt is very easily disturbed which results in clouds of a smokey like effect on the film frames, this results in a frame by frame search through a digital film taken at 60 frames sec., and this is very time consuming , I will post them as they are ready and copyrighted embedded.
